About this service
Skills Grow Faster in Good Company
There's a reason people accomplish more together than alone. Shared effort builds confidence that solitude rarely does. Group Employment Support puts that truth to work, helping you gain job readiness alongside peers who understand the road you're on.
This service supports adults with developmental disabilities who are building toward employment and thrive with others beside them. Following Ohio DODD's Group Employment Support model, you work in small groups within real work settings. You practice actual job skills, learn workplace expectations, and gain experience that counts, all with steady support nearby.
Consider what that looks like day to day. You show up, you contribute, and you build the habits that lead to lasting work. A supervisor guides the group. Your peers keep you motivated. Every task completed is a skill sharpened and a bit more confidence earned. This is job readiness with community built in, because no one should have to grow alone.
